Power Tubes

The Technical Ceramics business of MACOR® Machining China has been at the forefront of design and manufacture of components for electron tubes and electro-optic devices for more than 50 years.

Our ceramics metallisation process has played a major role in the development and commercialisation of modern communications, signalling and control technologies.

Our ceramic materials offer low dielectric loss, consistent dielectric constant, high mechanical strength and nil porosity. These critical material properties, coupled with our long-standing expertise in ceramic-to-metal joining, ensure we remain the world leader in this specialist field.

We work in partnership with our customers to develop competitive custom solutions to meet their needs. We produce ceramic, components and brazed assemblies to tight specifications, in quantities from one-offs to very high quality volume production.

Typical advanced materials used:

  • Alumina
  • Aluminium nitride
  • Braze alloys
